Michelle Ross - Personal Fitness Trainer

With over 16 years qualified industry experience, as well as over 20 years experience of gym training, working with myself will guarantee you of the health and fitness goals you may have always strived for... but never quite realised.

I have previous experience (since 1993) of all age groups and fitness levels, including working with the disabled, clients with cardiac problems, back problems, severe weight problems, the elderly, clients with eating disorders, mental health problems and an age range from 14 to 75 years.

Qualifications are through NABBA (National Amateur Body Builders Association), BAWLA (British Amateur Weight Lifters Association), YMCA, RSA and I have also completed a BACR (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation) Phas IV Instructor Programme through ARI in Aberdeen. I am also qualified to advanced level gym instructor and specialise in weight training.

What is Personal Fitness Training?

Personal fitness training is geared towards the client's individual requirements. I work with my clients to secure them the results they want in the shortest time possible, providing motivation safely, intelligently and with results in mind.

As well as motivation and continued progression through training, I also have clients keep a detailed food diary from which our progress can be monitored and changes made according to results obtained.
The result of all this is that you, the client, will learn how to manipulate your diet along with your training regime to continue to get results in the future.

Personal training is an education on how to maintain a healthy body and lifestyle for the whole of your life!!

By becoming stronger, fitter, leaner and healthier you will improve health, wellbeing and quality of life. This will result in an improved energy and mental focus which will result in greater self esteem and will make adhering to any healthy eating plan effortless.

Along the way as a result of this you will witness reduced stress and energy levels. A by-product of this could be lowering of blood pressure and improved cardiac risk - a major concern of many people in their 40s and older.
